I need more candy right now like I need a hole in my head. But I saw this cookie recipe and couldn’t help but try it to see if it really works. It does!
The peanut butter chocolate chip cookie recipe took longer to bake than the recipe called for and had to cool to turn into a cookie, but the result is great! Definitely satisfies my sweet tooth.
Type of cuisine: American
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 12 to 16 minutes
Total duration: 22 to 26 minutes
Servings: Makes about 16 cookies
Here’s how to do it:
- Mix peanut butter, sugar and eggs until completely blended. Stir in fries.
- Drop 2 tablespoons of batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. (Make balls if you want larger cookies.) This dough will spread out, so if you want round cookies, don’t put them too close to the pan.
- Bake in preheated 350 degree F oven for 11-13 minutes. Let the cookies cool before unmolding them.
To note: After 13 minutes, these cookies didn’t seem to be cooked and were still quite gooey in the middle, so I let them bake for another 3-5 minutes. Just watch to make sure they don’t turn too brown!
