Cookie flavors

Milano released new cookie flavors for the holidays

The holidays can be overwhelming for many reasons, especially when it comes to all the parties drinks and food that are suddenly available for the season. If holiday parties with treats and cocktails weren’t enough, almost every aisle in the grocery store has new holidays to treat. (Looking at you, Cinnamon Kit-Kats.)

Not that I’m complaining, but if you’d rather not eat all, it takes some willpower to decide which seasonal treats you’re going to try. If your favorite things on the holidays are drinks and desserts, however, there are two new items that belong in your grocery cart.

Say hello to the new Milan biscuit the flavours: caramel macchiato and irish cream! The two new cookies are here just in time for the holiday season and they can be found exclusively at Target stores nationwide. A 7 ounce bag costs around $3.89.

If you’ve never had a Milano cookie, the original is simply a layer of chocolate between two crispy, delicate cookies. These drink-inspired flavors, however, combine rich chocolate with the flavors of caramel macchiato or Irish cream.

If you prefer more classic holiday flavors, you can also purchase flavored Milanos with pumpkin spice, pepper mint, cinnamon chocolate and barley sugar. The is even a toasted marshmallow flavor if you still want to hold out the summer a little longer!

Personally, I can think of only one thing that could make the new cookie flavors even better: serve them with the drinks that inspired them!

That shouldn’t be difficult as Starbucks recently launched a line of flavored coffee creamers in stores nationwide, and the Caramel Macchiato is one of them. All you have to do is add it to your coffee and you have the perfect drink to enjoy with Caramel Macchiato Cookies.

If Irish Cream is your favorite instead, you might want to whip up a batch of this copycat Baileys Irish Cream that tastes just like the real thing. All you need are a few ingredients like heavy cream, instant Coffee and Irish whiskey and you have the perfect drink to serve with your cookies!
