Oreo announces collaboration with Microsoft 365

CHICAGO — Nabisco Co., a subsidiary of Mondelez International, is launching Oreo Thinvites in conjunction with Microsoft 365. After registering online, consumers will receive an email invitation to a Thinvite meeting, which will block from 2 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. ET on calendars from Tuesday, November 1 through Thursday, November 3. Attendees are encouraged to use this 15-minute break to snack on Oreo Thins and watch a Microsoft Teams video called “Back to the Pawfice,” which features puppies in an office.

Also available as part of the collaboration is a limited-edition Oreo Thins snack pack featuring retired Microsoft mascot Clippy, a tool called “Clippy Dippy” for dipping cookies with branded Oreo emojis available for a use in Microsoft Teams.

“Oreo Thins cookies have always been the perfect cookie for adults, and we’re partnering with Microsoft 365 to solve a problem that’s making adults around the world worse – the decline of the snack break at work,” said Sky Thompson, responsible for the Oreo brand. “We’re not just giving our fans permission to take this break, we’re going even further to create a calendar take, called Oreo Thinvite, that frees up 15 minutes of time in their day. In true Oreo style, we’ll be streaming playful content during Thinvite sessions — and we hope this inspires our fans to schedule designated snack times on their calendars for the weeks and months ahead.

Oreo Thins Snack Break Expansion Cookie Packs contain six snack-sized packs each containing four Oreo Thins. The expansion packs are available for free to customers who sign up for Virtual Thinvite and pay $3.95 for shipping and handling.
