Since the end of season 12, George Aristidou is back to family life in London and baking treats inspired by his Greek Cypriot heritage. Sadly, George left the show during the seventh week caramel week. Still, he had already made quite an impression on GBBS fans (via Twitter). These days, he reconciles his life as a husband, father of three children and public figure of the pastry. A total family man, George baked a flowerpot cake for the mothers in his life on Mother’s Day (March 25 in the UK) and posted a picture on Instagram. Comments from other GBBS contestants were quickly rave reviews, including one from Crystelle, another Season 12 contestant. She commented, “That’s so gorgeous, George!” and confirmed that the flowerpot masterpiece was her GBBS audition cake.
Most recently, George announced a paid-for Easter partnership with British brand Wholesale Sweets, an online wholesale sweets store. Her Instagram video highlights a candy and chocolate covered kitchen counter with quirky Easter-themed pastries. George’s originals included cute carrot cake and flowerpot desserts, mini cheesecake domes with a Biscoff crust and marshmallow flowers, and an Easter nest pavlova (with adorable ponytail eggs). chocolate) filled with lemon curd and Biscoff cream.
When the oven fails to preheat, George responds to Cameo requests for higher level GBBS fans. He must have a knack for making people’s day. His personalized messages left a strong impression. One recipient shouted: ‘George you smashed it out of the park’, while another wrote: ‘If there were six stars it wouldn’t be enough.’
